Niagara Falls

The Niagara Falls are located between the U.S.A and Canada, they are one of  the most famous falls in the world.

 Their origin is the Niagara River and they are a group of three falls, the Horseshoe falls, the American falls and the small Bridal Veil falls.

The falls are famous for their beauty, they are one of the most popular touristic sites in the world.

The Niagara Falls were a source of ispiration for the American philosofer Ralph Waldo Emerson, who tried to explain the inaccessibility of the mind and its flow.

They are also the protagonists of the novel by Joice Carol Oates ”The falls” and of the book by Cathy Marie Buchanan entitled ”The day the falls stood still”.

Marylin Monroe played in the film ”Niagara” in which the falls are the setting of the main scenes.
